1. Agreement to terms and conditions of use

Before visiting or using our webpage, read carefully the following Terms of Use of the WEBSITE. Every time you make use of the WEBSITE you agree that you accept fully and without any reservation the Terms of Use and comply with them.

In case of disagreement with the terms and conditions of use, the User must not use the services and the content of the WEBSITE.

2. User obligations and rights

  • Users are invited to play the capture the flag challenges, modify and enhance them AS LONG AS THEY DO NOT CHANGE THE CONDITIONS.
  • Users may not use the challenges for profit. They need to make them available also for free.

3. Legal notice

The software developed by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) – hereinafter referred to as “work” for the purpose of providing challenges from previous ECSC to everyone. The work is open source and presented ‘as is’ without warranties of any kind. It may have defects, errors, bugs, or be inaccurate or have other forms of shortcomings as is inherent to this type of development. Neither is the work to be considered as a product of any kind and therefore not subject to any type of product liability.

The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) is under no circumstances liable for any direct or indirect, material or moral damages of any kind, arising out of the Licence or of use of the Work. Computer failure, malfunction, loss of data or any other consequences of the use of the work such as – without limitation - commercial damage, loss of goodwill, reduction of profits or work stoppage are by no means in whatever form or to whatever extend subject to any form of liability, except in the situation of wilful misconduct, gross negligence or damages directly caused to natural persons. Neither is the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) responsible for the content of external sources that may be part of this software.
